Glitter Madness
2011
Okay, so here we go again with tutorials. I found some glitter which was collecting dust in my stash since I rarely ever use it in make up, I decided it is time to make something of it. By the way, Coastal Scents has nice and affordable glitter so you can order it from there. I used Flamingo hologram glitter which looks amazing on black base but you will see that during the tutorial.
Here we go.
Eyes:
e.l.f. primer
Essence Black Mania eyepencil
Catrice 220 The Violent Violet eyeshadow
Coastal Scents Inter Blue Sparks mica
Coastal Scents Flamingo Hologram glitter
MAC Carbon eyeshadow
Pink e/s from 120 palette
Lancome Hypnose mascara
Face:
Art Deco Rich Treatment Foundation
Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre
Benefit Thrrrob blush
Lips:
Revlon Matte 001 Nude Attitude lipstick
Since there will be a huge glitter fallout, I decided to put my foundation on when I am done with the eyes. I just applied a bit of foundation on lids to even out my skin color.
Apply e/s primer all over the lid, up to the eyebrows.

I used greasy black eyepencil as base for glitter. Apply it on lid and little bit over the crease.

Apply violet eyeshadow above the crease.
Blend it up and down but dont go too far.
Apply lighter eyeshadow in inner corner of the eye to give more contrast between black and violet.
Apply glitter all over the black on the lid. Use flat eyeshadow brush or fingers. Keep your eyes closed.
If you want to pull out cat eye note on this look, draw a line on outer eye corner using a black eyeshadow. This is not a must so if you dont like cat eyes, skip it.
A bit above the blended violet eyeshadow, apply a pink e/s with fluffy blending brush to give it additional kick. If thats too much for you, skip it and just take beige shimmery e/s to highlight the area.
Line the bottom lashline with e/s you used in crease and also line your waterline with black eye pencil.
And mascara fot the end, of course. ![]()
Since I photographed this tutorial in artificial light, here is additional photo taken on daylight where you can see how glittery and intensive this combination really is.
I combined it with a bit of pink blush and matte nude lips. Keep the rest of face make up to minimum because eyes like these are very noticable.
You like? How you you wear glitter in make up?

jako mi se sviđaju tvoji tutorijali
i definitivno bi ih voljela više vidjeti
pratim te i dalje
I got flamingo glitter and black magic hologram, both in coastal scents, but they look like dust, they don’t stick like the others. Is that normal or should i complain to coastal scents? Have you ever had this kind of problem? What do you use to stick the glitter?
tks.
Moram priznati wow prekrasno :D
Gorgeous makeup and a really good tutorial!
