Cutting Edge with Royality

This post is about Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick. They are good. There, I said it.
I havent been a big fan of Rimmel. I dont know, somehow they had interesting blush and eyeshadow colors but quality was…well, you know. I tried out some of their foundations when I was in my teen years but I also wasnt very pleased.
But their lipsticks are something. I have only three and I will show you two of them today.
085 Royality is muted purple/pink/mauve shade, I cant be 100% sure what exactly is this color called because it has strong both pink and purple undertones (depending on light) while being somehow close to neutral. I tried to take a realistic photo but my camera isnt very friendly with purple. It can be worn on daily basis.
120 Cutting Edge is dark, dark berry. It is actually a mix of dark red and dark purple. Very elegant. If you are tired of classic red lips in some occasions, try something like this.
Swatches above are taken in daylight. Here is a swatch I made on my arm under artificial light, to give you additional perspective of colors.
To tell a word or two about the texture and all that stuff….
They are moisturizing, non drying and feel comfortable on lips. There is also a nice scent, I would say something like candy. It makes me hungry :D
They also last reasonably long, about 4 hours with no touch-ups needed.
For the price of 35kn (6,5$) you will get more than you pay for. 9/10 from moi.

iako iskreno, odvikla sam se od ruževa i nosim samo labelo ;-)
Nemam jos nista od njih, jer se ne susrecem s Rimmelom gotovo nigdje, pa uvijek zaboravim da postoji. :D
Cula sam puno hvale na njihov racun, pa pretpostavljam da su ruzevi uistinu dobri. Za probu cu sljedeci put uzeti par njih, bas da vidim kakvi su. :)
Cutting edge izgleda lijepo. Imam zasad samo Alarm i zadovoljna sam :). Prava neutralna crvena..
