I have been seeing this galaxy nails trend all over blogs but since I am not a nail blogger, I wont be doing that :D I also had bad, bad light today while I was taking photos for this tutorial and it took me ages to make them usable at all. God bless Photoshop.
Instead I went with make up inspired by colors in this photo:
A big mix of black, blue, green and gold which turned put better than I honestly expected. The main thing in this story are actually MAC pigments because they have texture and that superfine shimmer which gives glow-from-within effect on lids.
Start with just a foundation and setting powder on lids, than apply eyeshadow primer.
Cover the lid to a little bit over the crease with black eyepencil.
Apply dark blue eyeshadow into the crease using a pencil brush.
Blend it up and down. This doesn’t need to be super neat.
Using a flat e/s brush, tap a bit of gold eyeshadow on the middle of the lid.
And blend it softly with the rest. Don’t go all the way up, keep in well under the crease.
Define the outter “V” with dark blue-green eyeshadow.
With teal eyeshadow, accentuate the inner corner of the eye.
Place the same gold eyeshadow you used on upper lid in the middle of lower lid and blend together with dark blue green and teal.
Line your eyes with black eyepencil.
Apply a thin line of black eyeliner to make eyelashes stand out more.
And highlight the area under the eyebrows.
Mascara for the end and taaa-daaa.
As usual, I did neutral lips.
