After a month and a half of testing in order to be reviewed, I will finally write a few words about two Yves Rocher products I recieved from the company. The reason I waited longer than usual is primarily a 12-hour eyeliner which normally comes in the form of markers (which I am not a fan of because of a short lifetime, drying the top and unequal application). I wanted to see how this eyeliner will last, or how quickly it would dry out. Yves Rocher Lash Plumping Mascara

About the product:
Yves Rocher says this is a mascara that gives the appearance of fuller lashes, volume and lengthening.
Packaging:
Pink tube with classical cylindrical brush with fibers arranged in several directions. Packaging closes firmly and is well made.
Texture:
I’d say this mascara has medium thick texture. Not too thick, it doesnt clump on the brush or on the eyelashes, but it is not watery and it leaves behind a color in one coat.
Application:
As with any mascara you go from the roots to the tips of the lashes. Since the brush is medium thickness, it is not difficult to maneuver even for smaller lashes like those in the inner corner of the eye or along the lower waterline.
Covering / Effect:
I can say that Yves Rocher Lash Plumping Mascara is doing what it says. It gently curls the lashes, gives them volume, density, and does not clump. Even with a closer look it is neat, free of lumps and inequality.

While wearing:
I noticed that there is no shed, and eyelashes look the same from the time I put on mascara, until I take it off. I must admit that I was surprised by the durability of this mascara beacuse it quite successfully survived the watery eyes for a few hours (I havent cried for that long, just had runny eyes: D), and when removing makeup with micelar solution, I still had to go over the eyes for a few times so that it can fully removed.

Positive:

Negative:
- Mascara itself does not have bad side, I’m just sorry that Yves Rocher is not more accessible
My opinion:
Very good mascara for medium to very dramatic eyelashes. I would compare it to Masquara by Illamasqua at twice the lower price. I can definitely recommend it!

Yves Rocher 12-hour eyeliner

About the product:
Yves Rocher says this is a highly pigmented and long-lasting eyeliner with a fine applicator for precise use.
Packaging:
This eyeliner is in the form of marker, so the top is spongy, but firm, in the middle of “pen” is liqud eyeliner. Slim, stylish and practical, it does not take up much space in the cosmetic bag.
Texture:
The eyeliner is liquid, there is not much to say here :)

Application:
Easy to use, leaves an equal, intense black line.
Covering / Effect:
It is quite pigmented, so you will not have to go twice over the same place with it, and it is easy to define the line that you want.
While wearing:
That is definitely a longlasting eyeliner. It stays on from application to removal, except for crying or rubbing. It removes with makeup remover without any problems.
Price, quantity, where to buy:

Positive:
- Pigmented
- Easy to use, especially for beginners
- Longlasting
Negative:
- Not as precise as the eyeliner with a thin brush that I personally prefer much more
My opinion:
Here’s why I waited for this review – by experience so far, the vast majority of the eyeliners in this form have started to dry very fast, resulting in poor pigmentation and unequal application, in short, they very quickly became useless because they simply did not work. At first I thought that this would be the case with Yves Rocher eyeliner, but after a month and a half of use, it is the same as when I first tried it. I personally am not very fond of this form of the eyeliner because am wacko for precision when applying, and although this eyeliner is quite nice, we did not fully clicked so I cant say that would buy it again. But despite my personal preferences for eyeliners with a thin brush, this one I can fully recommend the beginners who are looking for a quality eyeliner  to practice drawing lines. Application itself really does not require great experience and this is a very good choice for someone’s first eyeliner.
Final grade: 8/10

After I finished reviewing these, I went to edit the photos when I saw I accidentally deleted ones with swatches on eyes so you will have to forgive me the absence of photos with Yves Rocher mascara and eyeliner in action. :(
