Lush Color Supplement
2013
Hello, hello!
Nearly a month I was trying out Lush Color Supplement and it is time to write a review and share my thoughts about this product. I must admit that I was skeptical about the quality of these, because primarily I think of Lush as brand more concentrated on the bath & body range, and I’m picky about foundation, concealers and BB creams.
Tinted moisturizer come in packaging of 20g in glass priced at 80kn. Packing is aesthetically beautiful, but somewhat inconvenient to use because you’re forced to use your fingers or a spatula when using it. To me personally it does not represent a major problem because I use fingers when applying this (I’ll explain that later).
Cream has a compact texture, not a liquid, but a bit like a gel. Lightweight, non-greasy and moisturizing but not noticable on face after applying it. It gives a healthy glow and you just need to powder the T-zone with transparent powder, and the rest will look natural.
Only if you expect stronger coverage, remember that this is still tinted moisturizer, which, although covering more than most products of this type, will not hide larger blemishes of the skin. Two layers give somewhat stronger coverage, and does not create a mask effect, but it will still require an additional concealer if you want to cover imperections such as pimples.
Color Supplement can be mixed with cream to get really, really light coverage, applied alone, and can also be used for “thinning” foundation with stronger coverage, as well as correcting tone if your foundation is too yellow, pink, light or dark.
It currently comes in five colors, and I have Light Yellow and Dark Yellow. I definitely suggest that if you can, try it on skin before purchasing because i.e. Dark Yellow looks a lot brighter in the jar, while it is much darker on skin.
As for applying it, after trying several methods and techniques, I came to the conclusion that this tinted moisturizer works best when combined with good old fingers. When I use brush I noticed that the brush soaks in some of the product, and streak (even brushes which usually do not do that with other foundations). Probably the thing is that texture and slightly stronger pigmentation than other tinted creams have.

I like to use this product as around eye concealer, just for the feeling of hydration that leaves. As I mentioned at the beginning, the last few days I’m under stress and I dont sleep well, so the dark circles under eyes were perfect for testing this product. Although I mix these two for the face, I applied only Light Yellow on the dark circles in one thin layer and the efficiency you can see in the photos below.
My recommendation is lightly tapping the fingertip on that area until absorbed, then lightly set it with brush and transparent powder because it would otherwise collect in the wrinkles, especially if your skin is oily in this section.
My personal opinion is that this is a really good product, and even a highlight of Lush assortment in their (modest) makeup range. If you are interested moisturising, pleasant product for face and around eye area – try Lush Color Supplement.
Did you try Lush tinted moisturizers or something else of their range of products?

A ako ga fiksiram bude ko suha zemlja! UF,nikako na zelenu granu :(
Uh, onda imamo skroz razlicita iskustva :( meni daje bas lijep i svjez finish, a uopce se ne vidi na kozi, evo i sad ga imam na sebi :)
